From the very hotel you can do excursions as well as routes either on foot, cycling, by car or with snowshoes in wintertime.

Its excellent situation, with easy access to Núria and La Molina Sky slopes as well as to the center of the Valley of Ribes, in the middle of the mountains, allows us to do trekking, climbing, horse riding and to ascend to the emblematic summit of el Puigmal, the highest mountain in the Eastern Pyrenees (2.910 m.), with el Carlit.

We can also visit the Valley of Núria and enjoy, while ascending on the Rack Railway, magnificent views and mountains which are almost 3.000 m. high.

The Romanesque is another of the attractions of the Valley of Ribes and el Ripollés, a cultural and historical heritage of our region.

In Ribes de Freser, you can also visit the church of Santa Maria and the remains of the castle of Sant Pere.

Taking the road which comes out of Ribes heading for Campelles, we find a turning for the right which will lead us to the chapel of Sant Antoni, a quite high place which gives us extraordinary views of the Valley of Ribes.

Within the whole Queralbs municipal area, you can find numerous caves; the most famous being those of Rialb or “Las encantadas” (The Charmed Ones), with stalagmites and stalactites. Within the area of Campelles, next to the ancient la Corba and can Perramon spas, is where the river Freser forms the narrow mountain pass of the caves and at its right is where the caves of Ribes open.
